Care During Chemotherapy and Beyond

Lois - metastatic breast cancer

I was originally diagnosed with breast cancer in 1995.  I  have experienced about everything there is to experience with this disease.  My cancer spread to my bones and I have had radiation treatments twice and am on my fifth or sixth chemo drug.  I have continued to work full time throughout my treatments.  I walk with a walker and use a wheel chair on big excursions but I am still ticking and plan to be for a long time.  If you keep a positive and can do attitude, you can push yourself further than you can imagine. is designed to provide the latest information about chemotherapy to patients and their families, caregivers and friends.
